University Of Delaware Students Robbed At Gunpoint

NEWARK, Del. (CBS) - Police in Newark say a pair of University of Delaware students were robbed at gunpoint on campus last Saturday night.

Authorities say the two students were walking on South College Avenue near Winslow Road around 7:30 p.m. when the suspect approached them and pulled out a black handgun. He then took both students' cell phones, and ran away down Winslow Road.

Police say there is no surveillance video available, but the victims described the suspect as being a black male between 20 and 25-years-old, about 5'8" tall with a muscular build. He had short, black hair and a goatee, and was wearing a light-colored T-shirt and jeans.
