Two People Shot In West Oak Lane

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Two people were injured in a shooting late Sunday night in Philadelphia's West Oak Lane section.

It happened around 11:30 p.m at the intersection of Stenton Avenue and Beechwood Street.

Police say the two victims were seated in a car when they were approached by two males who opened fire on the men inside the vehicle.

Authorities say the victims were able to drive themselves to Einstein Hospital and are in stable condition.

Police describe the suspects as two men wearing hooded sweatshirts and are believed to be driving a Dodge Intrepid.

No motive is known at this time.

Police continue to investigate.
