Two Found Dead In Lancaster County Apartment

LANCASTER, Pa. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the deaths of two people whose bodies were found in a central Pennsylvania apartment.

Police in Lancaster County say officers in Manheim Township were sent to the Kensington Club apartment complex in Lancaster Township shortly after 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

Lt. Thomas Rudzinski said police had received a call to check on the welfare of the residents. He said "arriving officers found two people deceased inside the apartment."

No further information was immediately released. Rudzinski declined comment on reports that the two were found with gunshot wounds.

The discovery came two days after the bodies of two elderly men were found at another residence in the township. Police said there were no obvious signs of foul play in those deaths.
