Two Dead, One Injured In Fiery Crash In Cobbs Creek

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Two people are dead and a third person was injured after a crash in West Philadelphia.

It happened around 2 a.m. Saturday when two vehicles collided at 62nd and Walnut Streets in the city's Cobbs Creek section.

Police say the impact of the collision forced one the vehicles to flip over. That vehicle then caught fire with two people trapped inside.

The two people inside were pronounced dead.

The driver of the second vehicle was taken to Presyterian Hosiptal with minor injuries.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
