Two Dead After Small Plane, Rented Out Of Delaware, Crashes In Maryland

STEVENSVILLE, Md. (CBS) -- According to CBS Baltimore, a small plane crashed Tuesday at the Bay Bridge Airport in Maryland, resulting in the death of two people. Officials say the plane involved in the accident, a Vans RV-12, was rented in Wilmington, Delaware.

According to the report, the call came in around 12:44 p.m. Officials said a man and a woman were on board the plane when it crashed and burst into flames. NTSB officials say the plane was rented Yoxford Rental Company in Wilmington.

Officials add that the two victims are unable to be identified at this time.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
