TSA Officer Reunites With Man After Saving His Life At Philadelphia International

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- An award ceremony was held this morning at Philadelphia International Airport honoring those who are credited for saving a man's life after he suffered a massive heart attack in July.
The American Heart Association awarded Heartsaver Hero Awards to two Transportation Security Administration employees and a USAF Senior Airman for their efforts in saving the life of 69 year old George Senkle. He suffered a heart attack near a security check point at Philadelphia International Airport.
TSA Officer LaShanda McLean helped to administer CPR. The ceremony was the first time she saw Senkle since his medical emergency.
"You know it was sort of emotional for me, because you know we met and he walked up to me and he hugged me and he shook my hand and he told me your face was the first face I remember and I will never forget it. So you know I got a little chocked up and emotional about that," McLean said.
Mclean learned CPR many years ago and this was the second time she saved a life. She frst performed it 10 years ago when her then 4-year-old son was choking.
She recommends everyone take a CPR class for you never know when you can make a world of difference.
