PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- President Donald Trump told Planned Parenthood he will maintain federal funding if the group stops providing abortions.
In a statement, the president told the New York Times that polling shows that most Americans oppose public funding for abortions.
Planned Parenthood rejected the offer.
It notes that federal law bars government funds from being used for abortions.
