Flames Break Out At Tropicana Casino & Resort In Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (CBS) - A fire broke out at the Tropicana Casino and Resort in Atlantic City on Wednesday morning.

Fire crews were called to the hotel on the 2800 block of Boardwalk, just before 10 a.m.

Fire officials say the fire started on a mattress in a room on the 44th floor of the west tower, before spreading to the walls.

The sprinklers were activated and put out the flames.

Crews evacuated four floors of the building as a safety precaution.

There were no reported injuries.
