Man Found Dead In Burning NJ Home That Was Thought To Be Vacant

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a man was found dead inside a burning Trenton home that was believed to be vacant.

The fire on Sanford Street was reported around 3:30 a.m. Sunday and was soon brought under control. But firefighters found the body a short time later on the second floor of the home.

It wasn't immediately clear if the man was killed in the fire or how long he may have been staying in the home.

Shot Strikes Woman Looking Out Window Of Allentown Home

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

No other injuries were reported in the incident.
