Tractor Trailer Carrying Lumber Crashes On I-295 In Pennsville
PENNSVILLE, N.J. (CBS) -- Drivers were dealing with some delays early Thursday morning after an accident along I-295 in Salem County, New Jersey involving a tractor trailer.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes approaching the Delaware Memorial Bridge at Route 49 in Pennsville.
Authorities say a tractor trailer carrying a load of lumber crashed, spilling the lumber all over the roadway.
Only the left lane was open as crews worked to clean up from the crash. Traffic was crawling as a result.
The driver was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
