If you thought tap rooms were all about beer, you'd be...wrong. Tonight, head to SPTR for a rare Austrian wine-tasting, complete with a special menu that's inspired by a "Heuriger," or an Austrian wine bar.

Mega-bad Movie Night

5:30 – 9 p.m., $15 general admission or $25 for VIP ticket with open bar

An (optional) open bar and an openly "bad" film combine for a fantastic night of sci-fi nerd-dom at the Academy. This time, the movie is the 1997 classic "Anaconda," and scientific experts will be present to debunk some of the film's more outlandish aspects. Beer, wine, snacks and the Academy's many intriguing exhibits round out the after-hours fun.

Take a mental vacation to the tropics with this Mexican eatery's take on a tiki party. The three-course tasting menu includes things like teriyaki chicken wings, macadamia encrusted wahoo tacos and a baby kale salad, and cocktails including the "Azul Hawaiian" and (of course!) pina coladas are also on special for just $7.
