Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf Visits Berks Community Health Center In Reading, Urges Residents To Get COVID-19 Vaccine

READING, Pa. (CBS) -- Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf visited Berks County Wednesday morning to encourage Pennsylvanians to get their COVID-19 vaccination. He urged residents to participate in an upcoming walk-in vaccine clinic that will offer all COVID-19 vaccines, boosters and pediatric vaccines for anyone eligible.

He is also stressing the importance of getting a COVID-19 vaccination.

"Vaccination, that is the best way to protect yourself, your neighbors, your friends, your family and your community from severe disease," Wolf said. "If you're vaccinated even if you get a breakthrough case, which is not that likely but if you do, it's very unlikely that you're going to be hospitalized."

The Berks Community Health Center is located on Rockland Street in Reading and a walk-in vaccine clinic is being held there Wednesday night.
