Toddler Dies At Philadelphia Hospital After Being Found Unresponsive In Harrisburg Pool

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — A 15-month-old child died at a Philadelphia hospital after drowning at a family pool in the Harrisburg suburbs.

Police said family members found the child unresponsive in the pool early Monday afternoon. CPR was performed until an emergency medical service crew arrived to help.

The child, who wasn't named by police, was initially taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon and then later transferred to Children's Hospital in Philadelphia.

The child was pronounced dead Tuesday.

Police say foul play isn't suspected but they're investigating and an autopsy is planned.
