Tips On What To Do With Leftover Halloween Candy

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- If your house is full of leftover candy after this weekend, the following is a list of ideas for how to get rid of it or save some for later.

Most candy freezes well, so you can throw a bagful in the freezer for later… much later.

You can also use some candies for baking, add some to cakes or brownies.

If you just don't want the temptation in your house, you can always donate to a local retirement home or contact organizations that send care packages to troops overseas.
