Tinder, Spotify Team Up To Help Users Find Musical Match

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Tinder users now have another way to determine whether or not to swipe right. The dating app is hooking up with the music streaming service Spotify to help users find their perfect match.

Tinder will now let you connect your Spotify account to your profile. That means users have something else to consider while swiping besides those bathroom and gym selfies.

Users can show off top music, play previews of songs from their perspective date's profile and see which artists they have in common.

Tinder has a similar integration of liked Facebook pages and Spotify also partnered with dating app Bubble back in June.

In addition, Tinder is rolling out a new "Anthem" feature, which lets users chose one track that defines them.

The feature is rolling out now in all 59 markets where Spotify is available.
