Officials Release Ticket Information For Pope Francis' Address At Independence Mall

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Archdiocese of Philadelphia released information Friday about when tickets will be available to the public for the event with Pope Francis at Independence Mall later this month.

Officials say beginning Tuesday, September 8^th at 12:00 p.m. EST, 10,000 tickets will be available to the public for the event on Saturday, September 26, 2015.

Members of the public who wish to attend this Papal event are invited to visit the following URL to access event tickets beginning Tuesday, September 8^th at 12:00 p.m. EST: www.worldmeeting2015.org/tickets.

Officials say that the above link will become functional for ticket requests on Tuesday, September 8^th at 12:00 p.m. EST.

Tickets are on a first come, first-serve basis and individuals are limited to four tickets.
