Three Injured In Jersey Shore Shooting, Authorities Say

NEPTUNE, N.J. (CBS/AP) — A street shooting in a Monmouth County, New Jersey shore community has left three people hospitalized. But it's not yet known what caused the shooting in Neptune, which occurred shortly before 10 p.m. Monday.

The three victims were being treated at a hospital for undisclosed injuries. But their names and further details on their conditions were not released.

No other injuries were reported in the shooting. No arrests have been made.

Authorities have not said what type of weapon was used in the shooting or how many shooters may have been involved.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office is leading the investigation.
