Three Injured, Bullets Strike Nearby Home In West Oak Lane Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Philadelphia Police are investigating a triple shooting in the city's West Oak Lane section.

Authorities say police were called to the area of 15th and Kinsdale Street a little before 11:30pm Tuesday on reports of shots fired. Once on scene, they found 3-male victims between the ages of 28 and 38.

All 3 were taken to Einstein Hospital for treatment. Police say that at least 12-shots were fired from a semi-automatic weapon, and that 4-stray bullets struck a nearby home where a mother and her 10 and 12-year old sons were sleeping at the time. They were not injured.

Police believe the shooter left the scene in a light-colored vehicle heading north on 66th Street.
