Thousands Celebrate America At Penn's Landing
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It was the perfect blend of beautiful weather and patriotism at Penn's Landing Saturday for the second night of two Independence Day weekend fireworks shows on the waterfront.
Sergeant Chris Branagan and the United States Army Band 'Pershing's Own' kicked things off.
"There's really no better way to serve my country than through music," Branagan said. "It makes it even more special in a historic place like Philadelphia, in front of such an amazing crowd. It's a pretty special occasion every time we get a chance to perform."
