Thief Steals Nearly $7,500 Worth Of Fishing Equipment In Burlington County

MEDFORD, NJ (CBS) – Police are investigating after a thief stole nearly $7,500 worth of fishing equipment in Burlington County.

Around 2:17 a.m., Medford police responded to the 100 block of Skeet Road for reports of a burglary to a shed.

Once officers arrived, they spoke to the victim, who said his locked shed had been broken into sometime in the last two weeks.

The thief also reportedly robbed a second, unlocked shed in the victim's yard.

Police say about $7,420 worth of fishing equipment was stolen.

An investigation is ongoing.
