The 'Scough' Can Help Protect You From The Flu
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – It's a fashionable way to help prevent the flu.
The "Scough" is a scarf that helps prevent the flu by keeping wearers from inhaling the germs that cause the flu.
It also keeps you from spreading your germs.
A pair of New York business partners created the Scough by putting a carbon filter mask inside a scarf.
"Think about it as a Brita filter for your face," says co-creator Ari Klaristenfeld.
"This product can offer some protection against an aerosol," agrees Dr. Philip Tierno. "But it's certainly not 100-percent."
The Scough costs between $49 and $69 and the mask inside is good for three months.
