The National Museum Of American Jewish History's New Exhibit Focuses On America's Pastime

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- An exhibit opening this week at the National Museum of American Jewish History depicts baseball, as seen through the perspective of ethnic minorities.
There's Sandy Koufax's 1963 Cy Young award, and an interactive exhibits where you can catch a video fly ball from Hank Greenberg.
Curator Josh Perelman says "Chasing Dreams" presents 130 artifacts, dating from the mid-19th century to today.
Some are on loan from the baseball Hall of fame, and some were sent to the Museum through Tumblr.
Curator Josh Perelman says the exhibit also has the 1903 paper from Pirates owner Barney Dreyfuss co-creating the World Series.
"The cool thing about it is we have the original document that was signed, creating this World Series. And handwritten into the document is a note that says, 'No player can play on either team if they have joined after September first," Perelman says.
That's a rule that endures to this day.
The exhibit opens Thursday and runs through the entire baseball season.
