The Beat Goes On

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Our trend of unsettled mid-weeks continues. A slow moving frontal boundary that is practically stalled over the tri-state area will bring the chance for showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the low to mid 80's, where they will be for the entire week. In addition, it's going to feel muggy and uncomfortable. Expect that uncomfortable feeling to stick around a few more days, no pun intended!

This front will slowly meander to the east on Wednesday, and as a result, we will get a bit of a break. The chance for precipitation decreases, and although clouds will dominate for most of the day I think we will see a break or two of sun.

On Thursday, a stronger frontal boundary approaches from the west, with the warm front affecting us Thursday and the cold front swinging through on Friday, bringing about the chance for more thunderstorms.

Then ... dare I say it ... the weekend is looking nice -- again!

If you are going to try and make the best of this week down at the beach, remember – you can still get sunburn regardless of the cloud cover! UV indices will be high.
