The 2015 NFL Draft Is Heading To Chicago

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The NFL Draft has changed a lot in recent years and a change of venue is on the horizon. According to the Twitter account of the Chicago Bears, the 2015 NFL Draft will be leaving 'The Big Apple,' for 'The Windy City.'

The Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University will replace Radio City Music Hall as the host site for the draft.

The date of the draft is a week sooner than the 2014 NFL Draft which was pushed about two weeks back from the dates usually used by the league. Los Angeles was also believed to be in the running to host the draft, but despite it's notoriety, it does not have an NFL franchise.

Perhaps this could be the start of a rotating NFL Draft that goes from city to city each year. No official announcement has been made by the league at this point.
