Thanksgiving Dinner Might Bring Sticker Shock, But Study Finds Philly More Affordable Than Other Cities

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- If you haven't started shopping for Thanksgiving yet, get ready for some sticker shock at the grocery store. The average Thanksgiving meal will cost almost $40 to feed eight adults with a turkey and all of the fixings.

That's according to an analysis from the website Savings.com.

Philadelphia actually has the fifth-lowest average cost for a Thanksgiving meal at just under $36.

People in Dover are paying some of the highest prices in the country at almost $45.
