Temple To Establish Sports Media Center Named After Alumna Claire Smith

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Temple University is establishing a center to help students prepare for careers in sports media, and it will be named after Claire Smith. She's a 1979 Temple alumna and has been a pioneer for African-American women and people of color in sports media.
Smith has joined the faculty of Temple's Klein College of Media and Communication and will help lead the center.
