Temple Seals Penn's Fate With A 12-0 Run To End The Game

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Obi Enechionyia scored 15 points with nine rebounds and Temple closed out the game with a 12-0 run in the last four minutes to beat Pennsylvania 60-51 on Saturday.

Shizz Alston Jr. hit a 3-pointer with 5:48 left to put Temple ahead 48-45. Caleb Wood responded with a 3 to tie it, and after a Temple turnover, AJ Brodeur made a 3 with 4:02 left which marked the last time Penn would score. The Quakers missed their last seven shot attempts. Alston — who scored 14 — knotted it a 51 with 3:45 left and J.P. Moorman II put Temple up 53-51 with 2:32 remaining.

Penn led 25-24 at halftime before Temple (10-9) started the second half with a 14-1 run and led 38-26 on Nate Pierre-Louis' layup with 14:23 to go. Penn got back in it and outscored Temple 25-10 during the next 10 minutes and took its last lead on Brodeur's jumper.

Brodeur and Ryan Betley each scored 12 points for Penn (12-6) and Wood had 10.
