Temple And North Penn's Brandon McManus Helps Broncos Win Super Bowl 50

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- He wasn't the MVP, but what Brandon McManus did on Sunday night was crucial in helping the Broncos win Super Bowl 50. Peyton Manning has a chance to walk off into the sunset and McManus has a lot to do with that.

Broncos Defeat Panthers To Win Super Bowl 50

The Broncos defeated the Panthers 24-10 and McManus contributed a total of 10 points (3 FG, 1 XP) to the cause. McManus opened up the scoring with a field goal early in the first quarter.

McManus is an alum of North Penn and Temple University and his quest to the NFL was anything but easy. McManus went undrafted and wound up playing a critical role on the Broncos this past season.
