Teens Not Allowed In Maryland Mall Without Parent Weekend Nights

TOWSON, Md. (AP) — Teenagers in Towson will no longer be able to hang at the mall on weekend nights without adult supervision.

The Towson Town Center mall announced the shopping center's new parental guidance requirements Thursday.

Beginning in mid-September teens under the age of 18 must be attended by an adult if they're at the mall after 5 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Security guards will be stationed at mall entrances and teens will be asked to show identification. Teens with adult chaperones will be given wristbands to wear.

Other malls in the area, including Mondawmin Mall in Baltimore and The Avenue at White Marsh have implemented similar curfews.
