Teens Choke, Steal iPhone From 13-Year-Old On Philly Street

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are searching for several teenagers who choked and stole an iPhone from a 13-year-old in Philadelphia.

The incident happened at about 3:45 p.m. on February 20th in the 700 block of North 22nd Street in the city's Fairmount section.

According to investigators, the 13-year-old victim was walking down the street when he was approached from behind by the four suspects.

Police say one of the suspects wrapped his arms around the victim's neck and wrestled him to the ground.

While on the ground, the suspects took the victim's i-Phone and ran from the scene.

The victim suffered injuries to his lip and cuts to his left hand as a result of the attack.

The suspects are described as four black males, approximately 14-16 years old, wearing hooded-sweatshirts and hooded-jackets, with three carrying backpacks.
