Taylor Swift Breaks Political Silence To Support Tennessee Democrats

TENNESSEE (CBS) - Taylor swift is getting political.

On Sunday, she threw her support behind two democrats running for congress in Tennessee.

Swift endorsed U.S. Senate candidate Phil Bredesen and house candidate Jim Cooper.

She said on Instagram she used to stay away from politics but now she wants to support candidates who fight for LGBTQ rights and against discrimination and racism.
