Taylor Swift Donates $250K As Kesha Continues Legal Battle With Music Producer

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Kesha received a hefty donation from a fellow pop star to help with her legal battle against her former music producer.

Pennsylvania's own Taylor Swift forked over $250,000.

On Friday, a New York judge ruled against releasing Kesha from her record contract with Dr. Luke.

Kesha claims he drugged and raped her in the past.

Dr. Luke is suing her for defamation.

For two years the pop star has been unable to record new music while the case continues.
