Target To Hire 100,000 Seasonal Workers Nationwide, Including 1,000 In Philadelphia Area

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Target plans to go on a hiring spree for the holidays.

The company will hire about 100,000 workers nationwide, including 1,000 of them in the Philadelphia area.

Target Recalls Nearly 180,000 Dressers Because They Can Tip Over

That's about 30,000 more than last year.

Retailers earn nearly one-third of their annual sales between Thanksgiving and early January.
