Philadelphia Little Leaguers Advance To Semi-Finals
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- They're little leaguers with big dreams -- and they just keep winning.
The Taney Dragons of Center City Philadelphia are on a roll in the Mid-Atlantic Regional in Bristol, Connecticut.
The Dragons beat a team from Washington, D.C., 7-1, Wednesday night.
The Philadelphia little leaguers will now play in the semi-finals on Friday.
The Taney Dragons became the first urban Philadelphia team ever to win the PA State Little League Championship.
If they keep on winning, they will advance to the Little League World Series Tournament in Williamsport.
