Suspicious Package Forces Evacuation Of Town Hall In Evesham

EVESHAM, NJ (CBS) -- The discovery of a suspicious package in the lobby of the Evesham Municipal Complex forced a shutdown and evacuation of the building on Thursday.

Police say the package was discovered around 5:40 a.m. It was addressed to a judge and had wires poking out of it, appearing much like a bomb.

The building was immediately evacuated and New Road closed while the bomb squad investigated.
