Suspects Steal Deli Slicer From South Street Pizza Shop

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police in Philadelphia are searching for two suspects who burglarized a South Street pizza shop.

On Jan. 2nd, 2014 around 6:08 a.m., two unknown males were captured on surveillance entering the Maragelis Pizzeria/New Tower Pizza at 1410 South Street through the front door with a key.

Police believe both suspects work for an establishment that supplies rolls to the pizza shop.

Once inside, the portly suspects can be seen pointing at then struggling to remove a deli slicer before fleeing the scene with it. They were last seen in a white van.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
