Suspects Sought In Theft Of Donation Box From South Jersey Church

POMONA, N.J. (CBS) -- Police are searching for two suspects who stole a donation box from a church in South Jersey.

The incident happened at about 12:55 p.m. on February 25th at a church in the Pomona section of Galloway Township, Atlantic County.

According to investigators, the two suspects entered a religious sanctuary and stole a large donation box that contained an unknown amount of cash.

The suspects then fled the scene in a SUV. The SUV is described as early to mid 2000's Mitsubishi Montero. The color of the vehicle is two-tone white with beige/dark lower section with no front license plate and a dark bug shield on the hood.
