Suspect Wanted In Knife-Point Robbery Of Pharmacy In Cherry Hill

CHERRY HILL, N.J. (CBS) -- Police are searching for a suspect in a knife-point robbery at a South Jersey pharmacy early Tuesday morning.

The robbery happened at about 1:15 a.m. at the CVS Pharmacy on Springdale Road in Cherry Hill.

According to the Cherry Hill Police Department, the suspect entered the business and approached the pharmacist.

Police say the suspect pulled out a knife and demanded the pharmacist give him Oxycodone.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of pills, the suspect ran out of the store.

The suspect is described as a white male, early 40's, approximately 6 foot tall with a large build. He was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and a red mask, which exposed a grey beard.

A similar robbery occurred at the same CVS on February 9th. Police say it is unknown if the incidents are related.
