Suspect Wanted In Connection With Overnight Shooting In Mantua

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are searching for the gunman wanted in connection with an overnight shooting in Mantua.

The shooting happened just before midnight at 41st and Lancaster Avenue.

Police say a man was shot once in the back. He is in stable condition.

Police believe the suspect is a black male in his 20s who was last seen heading north on 41st Street on foot.

There is no word on a motive for the shooting.
