Suspect Sought In Morrisville Bank Robbery

MORRISVILLE, Pa., (CBS) – Falls Township Police and the FBI are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect wanted in connection with the armed robbery of a Bucks County bank Wednesday.

It happened shortly after 2 p.m. at the TD Bank branch in the 300 block of West Trenton Avenue in Morrisville.

Investigators say the suspect entered the bank, brandished a gun, and demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, investigators say the suspect fled on foot toward Ferry Road.

The suspect is described as a Black male in his mid-30s, about 5'9" tall, medium build. He wore a dark-colored zip-front hooded sweatshirt, light blue latex gloves, white surgical mask, and large snowboarding-style goggles. Investigators say he carried a black handgun in his right hand.

He is considered armed and dangerous.

This is the second robbery at a TD Bank branch in Bucks County in two days.  Yesterday, police responded to a robbery at the TD Bank in the 1100 block of Street Road in Upper Southampton (See Previous Story).

The two robberies do not appear to be related at this time.
