Suspect Robs Store And Employees In Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating a robbery of a KicksUSA store in Northeast Philadelphia.

Police say the robbery took place on the 2500 block of Welsh Road around 5:51 p.m.

The suspect forced four employees into the back of the store at gunpoint and robbed them.

Authorities say the suspect also took cash from the register and the safe.

The store's security system was also stolen.

There were no reported injuries.

No arrests have been made at this time.
