Suspect Opens Fire On Police Officers In Southwest Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - It was a close call for police officers when someone fired a few shots at them in Southwest Philadelphia Wednesday night.

It happened just before 11 p.m. on the 2500 block of 69th Street as the 12th District officers were investigating a reported shooting.

Instead of returning fire, the officers called for backup.

Responding officers made an arrest. They're still looking for another suspect.
