Suspect Arrested In Connection To Attack On Schuylkill River Trail

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia Police have announced an arrest in connection to the slashing of a 24-year-old woman on the Schuylkill River Trail.

Police have arrested 29-year-old Isiah Cheeseboro of the 2600 block of S. Daggett Street.

Authorities say the woman was walking on the trail, on Thursday, when Cheeseboro slahed her across the forehead near the steps leading up to Walnut Street.

The 29-year-old man is charged with simple assault, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and possession of an instrument of crime.
