Study: Millennials Twice As Likely To Feel Scammed By Big Banks

AUSTIN, TX (CBS) – If you sometimes wonder whether you're being taken advantage of by your bank, you're not alone.

New data from the 2015 Consumer Banking Insights (CBI) Study posted on Market Wired reveals one in four people feel "scammed" by bank fees, and "megabank" customers are twice as likely to feel that way.

Furthermore, 30% of Millennials feels scammed – about double the percentage of U.S. adults 55 and up who said the same.

Monthly service fees are the most hated, followed by ATM fees, and two in three adults said they're rather do their banking at a community bank or a credit union that at a big national bank.

The study polled a little over 1,000 adults over 18 online in January 2015.
