PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - We recommend jogging as a form of exercise to many people, but the fact is that many find it quite boring.

It is also well-known that aerobic exercise can come from competitive sports. People do well because they are distracted by the sport to some extent and participate for more of an extended period.

People who enjoy jogging say there is a way to make it more fun: jogging with others. And there actually is a study which found that many people do better when they exercise with friends.

The researchers studied rats and found that exercising in groups is better for the brain.

Another way to build aerobic endurance and stay interested is to vary the exercise program each day.
