Storybook Favorites Help Please Touch Museum Celebrate Milestone

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Children of all ages got to dance with -- and dress up as -- their favorite fairy tale characters Sunday during a special celebration at the Please Touch Museum.

From Cinderella to Elsa from Frozen, the Storybook Ball to help launch the Please Touch Museum's 40th birthday year celebration was well attended.

"Dance with the princesses," this little girl tells KYW Newsradio when asked what the best part of the event was. "Every single one!"

Music from all decades blasted while kids and the characters busted a move together, much to the delight of parents like Marcia Williams:

"Dance floor is filled with kids, we're having a great time, eating, enjoying the scenery."

The Museum's President, Trish Wellenbach, also got into the spirit. She dressed as a Fairy Godmother.

"It's just a party for kids and families to come and enjoy and reignite their imagination," she says.

There was even a real life horse and carriage outside...before it turned into a pumpkin of course.
