PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - After another night of severe storms rolling through the area, all is quiet this morning in the Delaware Valley.

These storms packed heavy rain and high winds. There were numerous reports of structural damage and downed trees and power lines, and a funnel cloud was spotted as well. The National Weather Service will be sending out a team to Delaware later today to survey the damage.

For those who will need to cleanup in the wake of these storms, much improved weather is expected. Skies will be mainly sunny, with seasonably warm temperatures. It is also noticeably less humid, making the warmth feel more comfortable than oppressive.

The weekend is looking great, especially for beach-goers. Expect mostly sunny skies each day, with highs near 90 inland (cooler at the shore).
