Stores Scrambling After Workers' Strike Causes Avocado Shortage

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Some difficult news for fans of Mexican food.

There is a national avocado shortage. That means guacamole is getting harder to come by.

Among the places hardest hit is California. Restaurants there are scrambling to buy whatever avocados they can.

A workers' strike in Mexico is to blame for the shortage.

Chipotle says it is not affected by the shortage.
