Store At Montgomery County Mall Reopens After Evacuation
WILLOW GROVE, Pa., (CBS) -- A store at a Montgomery County mall has reopened following an evacuation Friday afternoon.
Chopper 3 was over the scene at the Macy's department store at Willow Grove Mall.
According to a statement on the Mall's Facebook page, they confirm that Macy's was evacuated late this afternoon by local officials and has since been cleared for reopening.
"As always, we appreciate the quick response of the Abington Township Police Department for their immediate support in keeping our patrons and employees safe. We will continue to fully cooperate with authorities in any further investigation," the message reads.
There is no word on why police were there.
