Starbucks Announces Pumpkin Spice Lattes Will Be Made With … Real Pumpkin

SEATTLE, Wa. (CBS) – Though it's not yet time for pumpkin spice lattes, Starbucks announced that for the first time the extremely popular drink will contain… real pumpkin.

For those unaware, in the past the drink contained espresso, steamed milk, fall spices with flavor of pumpkin pie.

According to a Starbucks blog, "After hearing from customers and partners about ingredients, we took another look at this beverage and why we created it so many years ago."

Starbucks says it is adding real pumpkin and getting rid of caramel coloring.
